Resumen de Usos semánticos de la categoría πρᾶξις en tres manuscritos aristotélicos

A partir de un estudio sobre los usos semánticos de la categoría πρᾶξις (prâxis) que predominan en griego, así como en las traducciones en español al interior de tres de los manuscritos del filósofo griego Aristóteles, es que pudimos desvelar un aspecto problemático de interpretación que se suscita cuando, en distintas traslaciones, se modifica o cambia el contexto de significación de la prâxis al pasar del original helénico al español. Por lo tanto, el artículo llama la atención acerca del proceso de resignificación por el que pasa el término referido usado por Aristóteles cuando es traducido al español por conceptos que tienen un contexto de significación (latino) diferente al griego, así como algunas de las consecuencias que derivan de dicho fenómeno, por ejemplo, cuando las traducciones integran la categoría en cuestión en el campo de la poíēsis. Nuestro método de aproximación consiste en ubicar la palabra prâxis en una de las teorías que le dio origen a dicho vocablo en la tradición occidental (en este caso nos referimos al pensamiento aristotélico), para luego exhibir cómo se modifican sus contenidos en diversas traducciones al español.

On the basis of a study about the semantic uses of the category πράξις (Praxis), which predominates in Greek and in the Spanish translations within three manuscripts of Greek philosopher Aristotle, we could shed light on a problematic aspect of interpretation. This problem occurs when the context of significance of Praxis is modified or changed while passing from the original Hellenic into Spanish.
Therefore, this article draws the attention to the resignificance process by which the referred term used by Aristotle goes through when translated into Spanish, due to concepts that have a Latin context of significance different from Greek. It also draws attention to some of the consequences derived from that phenomenon, for instance, when the key concept is integrated into the poiesis field. The approach consists of locating the word Praxis in one of the theories that gave rise to that word in the Western tradition (referring in this case to the Aristotelian thought) and then showing how its contents are modified in various translations into Spanish.
