Argentina
We propose a tour of some historiographic approximations that, playing with the scales of analysis, aspire to leave the nation state in order to think about historical processes. It examines statements from the social and human sciences whose contributions were important in exploring different spatial dimensions and stimulating critical thinking about ways of conceiving and building power. Finally, it reflects on the study possibilities and the province limits, as an appropriate unit of analysis to elaborate a history prior to the Argentine national state. The importance of recognizing the spatial and relational reticularity that builds dimensions and political cuts is upheld, highlighting the value of the approach from which historical processes are studied.
