Una eclesiologia encarnada: recels, reptes i oportunitats

    This article seeks to draw attention to the main sticking points, the challenges and the opportunities that exist for grasping the coherence and the necessity of an ‘incarnate ecclesiology’, and to make our way towards it. For this task, we will first highlight the aspects that have served to give strength to this relationship between the principle of the incarnation and ecclesiology, to take us to one of the key moments in the ecclesiological thinking of Vatican II, the passage of LG 8. This heritage that we receive today, more than 50 years after the last Church Council, enables us to take on board and to promote a dynamic understanding of the principle of the incarnation, which will help us reach a deeper understanding of the present time in which we are living, not just as a new era but also as a time when we need to rediscover the missionary identity of the local church, with its fully synodal character in harmony with the universal Church. The complexity of the Church corresponds, as we will explain, to a complex incarnation, on which we can base ecclesiological thinking that seeks to be fully incarnate and, therefore, from a pastoral point of view, intended to be fully inculturated.

    En aquestes ratlles volem posar en relleu quins són a grans trets els principals recels, els reptes i les oportunitats existents per tal de copsar la coherència i necessitat d’una «eclesiologia encarnada», i encaminar-nos-hi. Per això ens remuntarem prèviament a destacar els elements que han ajudat a enfortir aquesta relació entre el principi d’encarnació i l’eclesiologia, per tal d’aterrar en un dels moments clau pel que fa al pensament eclesiològic del Concili Vaticà II, el passatge de LG 8. Aquesta herència que rebem avui, passats més de 50 anys del darrer Concili de l’Església, ens permet d’acceptar i afavorir una concepció dinàmica del principi d’encarnació, fet que ens aproximarà també a una comprensió més aprofundida del moment actual que vivim, no només com un canvi d’època, sinó com un moment en el qual se’ns fa necessari redescobrir la identitat missionera de l’Església local, plenament sinodal, en sintonia amb l’Església universal. La complexitat de l’Església obeeix, com explicarem, a una complexa encarnació, des de la qual podrem sostenir una reflexió eclesiològica que vol ser plenament encarnada, i per tant, des d’una òptica pastoral, adreçada a ser vivament inculturada.
