Resumen de El De doctrina de Guillermo de Conches: una síntesis escolástica de filosofía de la educación

  La escuela catedralicia de Chartres, en el siglo XII, recuperó una fértil tradición de estudios científicos y humanísticos. Junto con ello, retuvo una articulada noción de educación que heredó desde la antigüe-dad tardía. Gracias a ello, la noción acer-ca de la educación se mantuvo enciclopé-dica y flexible a su público. Guillermo de Conches, maestro de Chartres, escribió en su tratado enciclopédico Dragmaticonun apartado dedicado a la naturaleza de la educación, posteriormente intitulado De doctrina. Aquí se ofrece un estudio introductorio sobre el texto, su propuesta de noción de educación y sus elementos, así como su traducción del latín al español.

  The Cathedral School of Chartres, dur-ing the XIIth Century retrieved a fertile tradition of scientific and humanistic studies. And with that it retained and articulated notion of education, which it inherited from classical antiquity. Thanks to this heritage, the notion of education was kept encyclopedic and flexible to its public. William of Conches, teacher at Chartres, wrote in his encyclopedic trea-tise Dragmaticon, a section devoted to the nature of education, postumously called De doctrina. In this paper is offered an in-troduction study on the text, its proposal of education and its elements, as well as a translation into Spanish.
