Resumen de Aproximación a la producción alfarera en los sitios Alamito durante los primeros siglos d.C.(Noroeste argentino)

Esta investigación procura entender la producción alfarera en los sitios Alamito (Noroeste argentino), habitados durante los primeros siglos d.C. Conocer esta manufactura artesanal esadentrarse en las dinámicas sociales de estos grupos humanos que se caracterizaron por unaparticular forma de construir, distribuir en el paisaje y abandonar sus viviendas. Se seleccionaron55 tiestos -representan la variabilidad estilística-morfológica de la muestra estudiada- y fueronsometidos al análisis petrográfico de sus pastas cerámicas. La metodología utilizada incluye elestudio de la matriz arcillosa, la clasificación de las inclusiones (tipo, tamaño y formas) y ladescripción de las cavidades. Las regularidades y particularidades registradas en los datos hanpermitido detectar seis grupos de pastas, que fueron comparados con modos de pastas de áreascercanas. Así, este trabajo analizó las relaciones entre la cerámica Alamito y otras produccionescerámicas del Noroeste argentino durante el Período Formativo.

The goal ofthis research is to understandpotteryproduction in the Alamito sites (northwestern Argentina), inhabited during the first centuries AD. To know this craft production is to enterinto the social dynamics of these human groups characterized by a particular way of building,distributing in the landscape and abandoning their dwellings. 55 sherds representative of thestylistic-morphological variability of the sample under study were selected and their fabricswere assessed using petrographic analysis. The methodology used includes the study of theclay matrix, classification of inclusions (type, size and shapes) and description of cavities. Theregularities and singularities observed in this data allowed to detect six classes of fabric, whichwere comparedwith fabric recipes from nearby areas. Thus, thispaper analyzed the relationshipsbetween the Alamito pottery and other ceramic productions of northwestern Argentina duringthe Formative Period.
