Estando próxima la fecha de aplicación del Reglamento (UE) 2020/1784 sobre notificación y traslado transfronterizo de documentos civiles y mercantiles, importa saber cuáles son sus novedades y sus previsibles implicaciones a nivel doméstico. Entre las primeras, destaca la implantación de un "sistema europeo de notificaciones electrónicas", así como el deber impuesto a los Estados de prestarse recíproco auxilio en las averiguaciones domiciliarias. Entre las segundas, propiciar ciertas mejoras en la actual regulación de nuestro sistema de notificaciones y con ello una mayor eficiencia de nuestra Justicia civil
With the date of application of Regulation (EU) 2020/1784 on the service of documents in civil or commercial matters approaching, it is important to know what are its novelties and foreseeable domestic implications. Firstly, the introduction of a "European system of electronic notifications" stands out, as well as the duty imposed on States to provide each other with mutual assistance in home searches. Among the second, it stands out the need to promote certain improvements in the current regulation of our notification system and to achieve greater effectiveness of our civil Justice.
