Resumen de Perspectiva cognitiva de indicadores temporales前qián y后hòu y sus equivalentes en español e inglés

  Este artículo parte del sentido literal de los conceptos espaciales 前qián y 后hòu en chino, para encontrar la existencia de algún criterio del cambio semántico hacia la indicación temporal. Y más adelante, trabajaremos con las equivalencias de 前qián y 后hòu en español y en inglés con el fin de hacer comparaciones entre los tres idiomas. Encontramos que los dos indicadores temporales vienen del uso espacial. En chino y en español tanto 前qián como 后hòu existen usos espaciales y también temporales. Al mismo tiempo, en inglés algunos indicadores de 前qián o 后hòu solamente contienen el significado temporal o espacial. De acuerdo con las opiniones tradicionales sobre unos idiomas, 前qián representa el futuro y 后hòu, el pasado. Sin embargo, en este trabajo demostramos que en las tres lenguas que hemos estudiado, los indicadores temporales 前qián o 后hòu cuentan con bidirecciones, es decir, 前qián puede significar el futuro y el pasado a la vez para ciertos términos temporales.

  This study starts from the literal meaning of the spatial concepts 前qián and 后hòu in Chinese, to find the existence of some criterions of the semantic change towards the temporal indications. Later, we will discuss about the equivalences of 前qián and 后hòu in Spanish and English in order to make comparison among the three languages. We find that the two temporal indicators come from spatial usage. In Chinese and Spanish, both 前qián and 后hòu have spatial and temporal usage. On the other hand, in English some indicators of 前qián or 后hòu contain only the temporal or spatial meaning. According to traditional viewpolint of linguistics, 前qián represents the future and 后hòu, the past. However, in our reserch, we show that in the three languages ​​we have studied, the temporal indicators 前qián or 后hòu have two directions, which is, 前qián can mean the future but also the past for certain temporal words.
