    Entre 1914 y 1918, la Primera Guerra Mundial también se libró en un lejano rincón de África, allí Alemania también se enfrentó a los aliados. Los alemanes fueron dirigidos por un oficial, Paul Von Lettow-Vorbeck, que ha pasado a la leyenda por su actuación en esta campaña, siendo incapaces sus muy superiores enemigos de derrotarle. Pero para conseguir esta hazaña, tuvo que organizar, equipar y mantener a sus tropas, en un ejercicio formidable de preparación militar y optimización de recursos. En este artículo vamos a conocer de donde salieron, como se armaron y organizaron y cómo se mantuvieron estos soldados.

    Between 1914 and 1918, the First World War was also fought in a far corner of Africa, there Germany also faced the allies. The Germans were led by an officer, Paul Von Lettow-Vorbeck, who has passed into legend for his performance in this campaign, his far superior enemies being unable to defeat him. But to accomplish this feat, he had to organize, equip, and maintain his troops in a formidable exercise in military readiness and resource optimization. In this article we are going to know where they came from, how they were armed and organized and how these soldiers remained.
