El Turismo y los efectos del Covid-19 en el departamento de Huila – Colombia

    Durante el primer trimestre del año 2020, la humanidad recibió la noticia por parte de la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) que un virus muy agresivo y mortal se había instalado, lo identifico como “covid-19”, el cual había alcanzado el grado de pandemia por lo cual se debían implementar medidas de seguridad para detener la emergencia hospitalaria que se presentaba en el mundo pero que definitivamente iba a cambiar la manera hacer las cosas en todos los países. En vista de esta situación, el objetivo general del presente artículo es: Analizar los efectos del Covid-19 en el Turismo de Huila Colombia. Se pretende revisar la bibliografía mundial para identificar estrategias que permitan la reactivación de los estándares turísticos que existían en Huila antes de la pandemia. En cuanto a la metodología, el tipo de investigación elegido fue el explicativo, en cuanto a la muestra, estuvo conformada por el sector turismo del departamento de Huila Colombia. La técnica de recolección de datos es documental, por lo que el investigador emplea esa información para hacer análisis, no crea ningún tipo de instrumentos. Dentro de los principales resultados obtenidos se encentraron, que las ventas brutas decrecieron en promedio un 70%, según la Asociación Colombiana de Agencias de Viajes y Turismo para el año 2020. Igualmente, la pandemia afecto la actividad turística del departamento, cuyas empresas tuvieron que cerrar producto de esas primeras medidas implementadas por el gobierno. Sin embargo, tanto los esfuerzos por parte de las empresas prestadoras de servicios como el estado permitieron la detección de la caída abrupta del turismo.  Lo más importante de este estudio es la capacidad de respuesta que tuvo Huila, desde los postulados económicos y desde la resiliencia que permite inferir una nueva concepción de resiliencia económica.

    During the first quarter of 2020, humanity received the news from the World Health Organization (WHO) that a very aggressive and deadly virus had been installed, I identify it as "covid-19", which had reached the degree of pandemic, for which security measures had to be implemented to stop the hospital emergency that arose in the world but that was definitely going to change the way things were done in all countries. In view of this situation, the general objective of this article is: Analyze the effects of Covid-19 on Tourism in Huila Colombia. It is intended to review the world bibliography to identify strategies that allow the reactivation of the tourist standards that existed in Huila before the pandemic. Regarding the methodology, the type of research chosen was the explanatory one, as for the sample, it was made up of the tourism sector of the department of Huila Colombia. The data collection technique is documentary, so the researcher uses this information for analysis, he does not create any type of instruments. Among the main results obtained were that gross sales decreased on average by 70%, according to the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies for the year 2020. Likewise, the pandemic affected the tourist activity of the department, whose companies had to close product of those first measures implemented by the government. However, both the efforts of the service providers and the state made it possible to detect the abrupt drop in tourism. The most important aspect of this study is the response capacity that Huila had, from the economic postulates and from the resilience that allows us to infer a new conception of economic resilience.
