    Una de las principales críticas que recibieron las interpretaciones idealistas de Vico fue la falta de objetividad histórica. Según esos críticos, al haber reconstruido la filosofía de Vico a partir de y según su propia filosofía, estas interpretaciones tendrían el gran defecto de ser incapaces de investigar cómo fue y pensó realmente Vico. Este trabajo se propone reconstruir, en respuesta a dichas críticas, la concepción idealista sobre la objetividad de la interpretación, con el fin de plantear un renovado acercamiento a dichas interpretaciones. Aunque el trabajo toma como autor central a Gentile, también considera aspectos de la filosofía de Croce

    One of the main criticisms of Vico’s idealistic interpretations was the lack of historical objectivity. Those critics think that, having reconstructed Vico's philosophy from and according to their own philosophy, these interpretations would have the great defect of being incapable of investigating how Vico really was and thought. This paper suggests a reconstruction, in response to these criticisms, of the idealist conception about the objectivity of interpretation, in order to propose a renewed approach to these interpretations. Although the work takes Gentile as its central author, it also considers aspects of Croce’s philosophy.
