    En la segunda mitad del siglo XIX se descubrió en un campo de Estollo un ara votiva romana con inscripción dedicada a un dios de nombre indígena. Tras siglo y medio de investigaciones, mediante el análisis crítico de los estudios realizados y la comparación con otras mitologías, podemos establecer una interpretación bastante fiable tanto del sentido del nombre como de algunas características de su culto.

    In the second half of nineteenth century a roman votive ara or altar was discovered in Estollo (La Rioja, Spain), bearing an indigenous theonym. The research has gone on for a century and a half and it seems that, by means of a critical analysis of the investigations and comparative mythology, we can establish a fairly reliable interpretation of both the meaning of the name and some features of the cult the god received.
