Expresionismo lírico en la poesía de Juan Emilio Ríos

    El ensayo que ocupa la presente sinopsis pretende centrarse en el eje cardinal último de la poética de Juan Emilio Ríos, en su poemario “Engendros de la Ira”. Frente a las dubitaciones actuales de movimientos poéticos, se objetiva la raíz expresionista de la lírica estudiada. El marco geográfico-histórico en el que se mueve es la poesía germana que asumió la vanguardia del movimiento citado, así como las circunstancias sociológicas en las que eclosionó. Así pues, la tesis del presente trabajo es encajar el expresionismo de la lírica actual de JER con el momento histórico presente, y exhortar a una meditación sobre las coincidencias sociales de principios del siglo XX y la incertidumbre moral del tiempo actual.

    The essay that occupies the present synopsis intends to focus on the last cardinal axis of the poetry of Juan Emilio Ríos, in his collection of poems “Engendros de la Ira” —Monsters of Wrath—. In the face of current doubts about poetic movements, the expressionist roots of the lyric poetry studied are objectified. The geographical-historical framework in which it moves is the German poetry that was at the forefront of the aforementioned movement, as well as the sociological circumstances in which it emerged. Thus, the thesis of the present work is to fit the expressionism of JER’s current lyrics with the present historical moment, and to urge a meditation on the social coincidences of the beginning of the 20th century and the moral uncertainty of the present times.
