La figura del narrador algecireño Juan Luis Romero Peche permanece desconocida para la mayoría de los autores de nuestra comarca. Solo algunos de los intelectuales campogibraltareños conocen la importancia de su obra y de su transgresión ante todo lo establecido. Mediante este artículo se nos desvelan muchas de las claves para entender a este incalificable autor, único hijo de la famosa poetisa Lola Peche.
La autora se basa para hilvanar su artículo en el testimonio de algunos autores que lo conocieron bien, como Luis Alberto del Castillo, Mar Marchante o Juan Emilio Ríos, además de la entrevista realizada a su viuda, la escultora Verónica Hernández.
La otra fuente que utiliza la autora es una entrevista que le hizo al protagonista de este artículo el escritor Alfredo Valenzuela

The figure of the narrator Juan Luis Romero Peche from Algeciras remains unknown to most of the authors of our region. Only a few of the intellectuals from the Campo de Gibraltar region are aware of the importance of his work and his total disregard for the establishment. This article reveals many of the keys for understanding this unqualifiable author, the only son of the famous poetess Lola Peche.
The author bases her article on the testimony of some authors who knew him well, such as Luis Alberto del Castillo, Mar Marchante and Juan Emilio Ríos, as well as an interview with his widow, the sculptress Verónica Hernández.
The other source used by the author is an interview with the protagonist of this article by the writer Alfredo Valenzuela
