Resumen de El desarrollo diacrónico de ponerse a + INFcomo construcción de soporte: contrastes dialectales

  En el siguiente artículo, analizamos la deriva histórica de la perífrasis incoativa ponerse a + INF en el español chileno. Nuestro propósito es describir la trayectoria diacrónica deestaconstrucción, trazando contrastes dialectales con su desarrollo histórico en el español peninsular y con otras perífrasis incoativas del español. En el plano teórico, interactuamos con la teoría de la gramaticalización y con la gramática de construcciones. En términos metodológicos, nuestro estudio se basa en una revisión de corpus lingüísticos históricos que permite cimentar un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo. Como resultado de la indagación, argumentamos que ponerse a + INFmanifiesta un desarrollo principalmente divergente de aquel que se observa en la variedad peninsular. Además, argumentamos que este esquema ha funcionado como construcción de soporte en la creación o ensayo de nuevos mecanismos incoativos.

  In the following article, we analyze the historical drift of the inchoactive periphrasis ponerse a + INF, in Chilean Spanish. Our aim is to describe the diachronic trajectory of this construction, bringing dialect contrasts with its historical development in the peninsular Spanish and with other Spanish inchoactive periphrasis. At the conceptual level, we interact with the theory of grammaticalization and the construction grammar. In methodological terms, our study is based on a review of the historical linguistic corpus that allows constructing a quantitative and qualitative analysis. As result of the investigation, we argue that ponerse a + INF shows a development mainly divergent to that observed in the peninsular variety. Furthermore, we argue that this scheme has functioned as a supporting construction in the creation of new inchoactive mechanisms.
