En el presente artículo se aborda el análisis de la teoría sobre la lengua a través de tratados de gramática escolar publicados en Perú en el siglo XIX, como contribución al estudio de las ideas lingüísticas en América latina. Para ello, sobre la base de las teorías del canon y de la teoría de las series textuales, y con un planteamiento que combina la historiografía de la lingüística interna y externa, se presentan los agentes de esta teoría gramatical (tratadistas y receptores de las obras), las claves internas y externas de interpretación de las ideas gramaticales en el contexto peruano decimonónico, así como, finalmente, la concepción de la gramática y los modelos teóricos subyacentes en los veinticuatro textos que componen el corpus.

In this article we analyze the theory of language through school grammar treatises published in Peru in 19th century, as a contribution to the study of linguistic ideas in Latin America. For this purpose, on the basis of the theories of the canon and the theory of textual series, and with an approach which combines the historiography of internal and external linguistics, we present the agents of this grammatical theory (grammarians and receivers of the works), the internal and external keys of interpretation of grammatical ideas in the nineteenth-century Peruvian context, as well as, finally, the conception of grammar and the underlying theoretical models in the twenty-four texts of the corpus.
