P2PSP is an application layer protocolfor the real-time streaming of multimedia content overthe Internet, i.e., where the users playback the streamin a synchronized way. It can be used to build avariety of live streaming services that ranges fromsmall hangouts to large IPTV systems. Unlike inthe traditional CS (Client/Server) and CDN (ContentDelivery Network) based video streaming, peerto-peer nodes contribute with their upload bandwidthto the system. For this reason, in general, P2P systemsare much more scalable than those based on theclient/server architecture. This work focuses on actualexecutions (not simulations) of P2PSP networks.Preliminary results regarding buffering time suggestthat the protocol scales well up to sev
