Resumen de Las tecnologías como justificación de la necesidad de la articulación múltiple en el repertorio clarinetístico

  Actualmente, los clarinetistas no suelen utilizar la articulación múltiple porquese considera demasiado compleja e innecesaria para interpretar el repertorioexistente. El objetivo es demostrar, mediante las Tecnologías de la Información y laComunicación (TIC), que la articulación múltiple es útil para interpretar el repertorioclarinetístico de distintas agrupaciones. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una búsqueda debibliografía en Dialnet y Google Scholar donde se indicase aproximadamente lavelocidad máxima de picado simple de un clarinetista profesional con alto dominiodel instrumento. Se utilizó principalmente la cadena de búsqueda “Clarinete ANDarticulación múltiple AND TIC”. Además, se buscó repertorio en International MusicScore Library Project (IMSLP) que incluyese fragmentos con notas picadas a muchavelocidad. Para aquellas obras que no poseían indicaciones metronómicas, seutilizaron YouTube y Spotify para encontrar al menos 7 grabaciones de cada obra y,así, medir las velocidades alcanzadas. Para ello, se utilizó “TAP Tempo” de ZyMi. Trasla revisión se obtuvieron 52 obras de las cuales se ha medido el tempo de 22 piezas.Por ello, se midió la velocidad de 168 vídeos de agrupaciones de calidad donde seobservó que las velocidades eran muy altas, superiores a las de la evidencia científica.Como conclusión puede decirse que la articulación múltiple es útil para cualquierinstrumento como el clarinete. Con las TIC se ha mostrado con claridad que lasvelocidades de los pasajes seleccionados, en muchas ocasiones, son demasiado altaspara realizarlas con picado simple y que esta técnica ayudaría a su interpretación.

  Currently, clarinetists don’t often use multiple articulation because it is consideredtoo complex and unnecessary to play the existing repertoire. The objective is to prove,through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), that multiple articulationis useful to interpret the clarinet repertoire of different groups. For this, a bibliographysearch was carried out in Dialnet and Google Scholar where the maximum speed ofthe simple tonguing of a professional clarinetist with a high domain of the instrumentwas indicated approximately. The search string “Clarinet AND multiple articulationAND TIC” was mainly used. In addition, a repertoire was searched in the InternationalMusic Score Library Project (IMSLP) that included fragments with notes articulatedat high speed. For those works that didn’t have metronomic indications, YouTube andSpotify were used to find at least 7 recordings of each work and, thus, measure thespeeds reached. For this, it was used the ZyMi’s button named “TAP Tempo”. After thereview, 52 works were obtained, of which 24 didn’t indicate the tempo. Therefore, it was measured the speed of 168 videos of quality groupings where it was observedthat the speeds were very high, higher than those of the scientific evidence. As aconclusión, it can be said that the multiple articulation is useful for any instrumentsuch as the clarinet. With the TIC it has been clearly shown that the speeds of theselected passages, on many occasions, are too high to be performed with simpletonguing and this technique would help their interpretation.
