Resumen de Vulnerability assessment of the metallic light roofs to the effect of hurricane forcewinds using FEM

• The objective of this work is to show the numerical simulation by the Finite ElementMethod, of metallic light roofs in Cuba under the action of the dynamic componentof strong winds (a hurricane of category five), to find technological criteria related tothe stresses and deformations limits to which they are subject. In order to reach thisgoal, the methods of systems analysis, modeling and simulation by finite elementmethod were used.
