  • Resumen
    • Water is one of the last ‘profitable niches’ where organized criminal groups can count on large profits, especially because of its scarcity and value as a tradeable commodity. To successfully address organized environmental crime, it is essential to view it as a crime of serious consequence. Once the magnitude and dynamics of the problem are understood, the next task is to find suitable ways in which to disrupt the activities of organised criminal groups and networks.
