    Es imposible hacer una aproximación al paisaje, por somera que sea, sin entenderlo en relación con el ser humano. Los procesos de formación de los paisajes culturales y de las personas corren en paralelo, convergen y se retroalimentan hasta formar un todo indisociable. Así, las propiedades específicas de cada lugar influyen decisivamente en el carácter del paisaje y de sus habitantes, del mismo modo que el proceder humano y sus actuaciones en el territorio determinan la fisonomía y la esencia del paisaje. De esta mutua colaboración nace el carácter identitario, de las gentes y de los lugares, del paisaje cultural en definitiva. A través de testimonios escritos, reales o ficticios, y de la experiencia propia intentaremos aproximarnos a esa realidad identitaria de los paisajes.

    It is impossible to approach landscape and understand it without relating it with the human being. The construction of cultural landscapes and the individual grow up together in parallel and converge in an indissoluble unity. The specific characteristics of each single place define the characteristics of the place and its inhabitants, in the same way that human activities determine the appearance and personality of the landscape. Of this interrelation emerges the identity of the landscape, of its peoples and of the places, brief, cultural landscape. Through written testimonies, fiction and non-fiction, and of our own experience, we will try to approach this identity of the landscapes.
