El Museo ANFACO de la Industria Conservera es el resultado de uno de los proyectos con los que ANFACO (Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Conservas de Pescado y Marisco) conmemoró en el año 2004 el centenario de su fundación. El proyecto museográfico permite un recorrido por la historia de la transformación de los productos del mar en un itinerario que hace hincapié en los recursos técnicos, científicos, históricos, publicitarios y humanos presentes en el desarrollo de este sector desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad. Es un museo de naturaleza histórica y didáctica, siendo la divulgación, el fomento de la investigación y la conservación de la cultura material e inmaterial de la industria conservera, sus objetivos estratégicos. Dividido en dos apartados, por una parte, la colección visitable, en la que a través de un conjunto de paneles y piezas históricas de gran interés se realiza un recorrido por la historia tanto del sector de la propia Asociación y el archivo histórico, que cuenta con dos fondos documentales, el asociativo y el de la empresa de conservas Bernardo Alfageme, S.A.

The ANFACO Museum of the Canning Industry is the result of one of the projects with which ANFACO (National Association of Manufacturers of Canned Fish and Seafood) commemorated in 2004 the centenary of its foundation. The museum project allows a journey through the history of the transformation of seafood since the century in an itinerary that emphasizes the technical, scientific, historical, advertising and human resources present in the development of this sector from its beginnings to the present. It is a museum of a historical and educational nature, being the dissemination, the promotion of research and the conservation of the tangible and intangible culture of the canning industry its strategic objectives. Divided into two sections, on the one hand, the visitable collection, in which through a set of panels and historical pieces of great interest a journey through the history of both the sector of the Association itself and the historical archive is made, which tells with two documentary collections, the associative one and that of the canning company Bernardo Alfageme, S.A.
