  Acudir a un festival de música era sinónimo de comer poco y mal. Atrás quedaron esos bocatas de chorizo o panceta. Pero esto ha cambiado radicalmente, muchos de los actuales festivales de música han apostado por ofrecer una gran calidad en su oferta culinaria. Desde productos de kilómetro cero, elaboraciones tradicionales, showcooking de grandes chefs, y hasta existen premios de las mejores áreas gastronómicas de los diferentes festivales. Los Festivales de Música, son claros dinamizadores culturales y turísticos. Los Festivales aportan diferentes beneficios económicos, turísticos y sociales en el lugar donde se celebran. En España, el impacto tanto económico como cultural de estos eventos está más que demostrados. Después del 2018, donde los datos de facturación y asistencia, fueron inmejorables, durante el año 2019 se mantuvieron y fueron positivos (más de382 millones de euros) un 14% más que el año anterior. Analizaremos la relación entre Festivales de Música y cultura gastronómica que ofrecen los festivales del país.

  A Music Festival was synonymous with eating little and badly. Gone are those “chorizo” sandwiches or bacon. But this has radically changed, many of current music festivals have opted to offer a great quality in its culinary offer: from zero kilometer products, elaborations traditional, showcooking of great chefs, and there are even awards from the best gastronomic areas of the different festivals. The Music Festivals are clear cultural and tourist promoters. Festivals provide different economic, tourist and social benefits, in the place where they are held. In Spain, the impacts, both economic and cultural of these events are more than proven. After 2018, where the data from billing and assistance were unbeatable, during 2019 they were maintained and positive (more than 382million euros), 14% more than the previous year. We will analyze the relationship between Music Festivals and gastronomic culture offered by the country’s festivals.
