  • The present paper proposes a working method for determining the height of defectsin the welds of metal constructions using radigraphic techniques. First, the problemsassociated with the detection of defects in metal welding are briefly exposed, as wellas some of the techniques commonly used. Next, the fundamentals and procedureof the proposed method are described. All this is accompanied by a practical caseas an example and experimental validation, to finish with the conclusions and theadvantages derived from the application of the method to the control and executionon site of welded joints.
