    • This article is based on the case study of an industrial plant with design based onparameters such as the improvement of reliability, maintainence and efficient operation,as well as energy efficiency and environmental concerns. Key decisions like thereliability of facilities, and installations, cutting down time intervals, energy efficiencyand environmental impact analysis impact the design of a new industrial plant. Theprominent steps are listed by the Directorate of Engineering and Maintenance, supportedby the President and the General Direction of the industry. The factory has seta benchmark for the industry and currently is one of the first companies in its sectorin the national and European level.
