!is approach aims to open two lines of research on Alejandra Murguía (Santiago de Compostela 1859 - A Coruña, 1937): her work as transmitter and compiler of oral tradition literature and her artistic career, short, filled with obstacles and drastically interrupted by the charges derived from their feminine condition. At the same time, it aims to be a vindication of her figure in the light of women’s studies and a reflection on the hegemonic discourses of art and the history of literature, which often ignored and belittled female performances.
