The study about sorcery in Finnmark and the narratology, the method of analysis used by the scholar Willumsen, have allowed new historical contents to emerge from very well preserved archival sources. The database of regional and national sources and studies provides extraordinary clues to understanding the spread of witchcraft in a forgotten location. The valorization of the sources takes place today also through a memorial, historical museum in Vardø: it overlooks the fjord and makes a piece of history within the reach of tourism.
