Resumen de L?Atalante.: Viaggio in un piccolo grande archivio di cinema e visual media

Cesare Biarese

  • This article presents the project "Atalante", a private specialized archive – paper and digital – of texts on cinema and visual narrative (fiction and TV series above all, but also graphic novels and comics), also including sections dedicated to photography, art and literature. It is divided into three interdependent areas: books, periodicals, documents. The result of almost sixty years of underground work of identification, selection and daily collection of documents in paper or digital format, Atalante is a dynamic archives that grows day by day through the acquisition of new documents. All of the work carried out up to now, both the conception and setting up of the archives, and the collection and processing of the single elements that make up the archives, has been done by a single person (collection of texts, digitalization, classification, archiving, indexing, concept and design of the structure), on the basis of a passion and experience matured over many years of research.
