Resumen de Los Espacios del poder en tiempos de Felipe III: dinámicas del modelo cortesano hispánico en el siglo XVII

En el marco de la renovación historiográfica y los nuevos estudios de la Monarquía Hispana, planteamos que ésta logró consolidar su modelo de poder en el siglo XVII en estrecha vinculación con los equilibrios del poder que debió mantener con la corte. El presente estudio pretende establecer el ordenamiento político y las dinámicas de la corte presentes en la conformación de su aposento. Analizando las crónicas, algunos informes de embajadores y la misma legislación regia buscaremos la dimensión móvil de la corte y su aposento en la geometría política del siglo diecisiete. En base a la documentación aportada por la cronística del siglo XVII, así como por los archivos españoles: General de Palacio, Histórico Nacional y el de la Biblioteca Nacional, sostenemos que la organización del aposento de Felipe III y su favorito, muestra justamente las tensiones y los modos como el poder circulaba y se repartía en torno a la corte, en un cuerpo político monárquico, vivo y cambiante.

In the context of the historiographical renewal and the new studies of the Hispanic Monarchy, we propose that it managed to consolidate its model of power in the seventeenth century in close connection with the balances of power that it had to maintain with the court. The present study tries to establish the political order and the dynamics of the court present in the conformation of its chamber. Analyzing the chronicles, some reports from ambassadors and the royal legislation itself, we will look for the mobile dimension of the court and its chamber in the political geometry of the seventeenth century. Based on the documentation provided by the chroniclers of the seventeenth century, as well as by the Spanish archives: General de Palacio, Histórico Nacional and that of the Biblioteca Nacional, we maintain that the organization of the room of Felipe III and his favorite, shows precisely the tensions and the ways in which power circulated and was distributed around the court, in a monarchical political body, alive and changing.
