Resumen de DIAGNÓSTICO DE LA GESTIÓN DOCUMENTAL DEL INSTITUTO DE POSGRADO DE LA UNIVERSIDAD TÉCNICA DE MANABÍ

  Los Sistemas de Información Documental constituyen un importante recurso dentro de las instituciones en virtud de garantizar, no sólo la organización de la documentación generada por las funciones que le están conferidas, permitiendo la captación de información externa a la institución. La documentación es un recurso fundamental para las organizaciones, por esta razón suele ubicarse en el nivel de otros como los recursos humanos, materiales y económicos. De allí nace la necesidad de desarrollar un diagnóstico de la gestión documental llevada a cabo por el Instituto de Posgrado de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí para el desarrollo de un sistema de gestión basado en la norma la norma ISO 15489. Esta investigación se logró por medio de la aplicación de métodos e instrumentos de recolección de información de campo como es el caso de la escala de Likert por medio del que se determinó las falencias en la gestión de documentos del Instituto de Posgrado de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí siendo que los protocolos de almacenamiento y archivo de información vital y sensible, de la misma manera es necesario que el proceso de manejo documental deba reajustarse una nueva normativa misma que se base en la Norma ISO 15489 por medio de la que sea posible reglamentar la organización y conservación de los documentos.

  The Documentary Information Systems constitute an important resource within the institutions by virtue of guaranteeing, not only the organization of the documentation generated by the functions that are conferred on it, allowing the capture of information external to the institution. Documentation is a fundamental resource for organizations, for this reason it is usually located at the level of others such as human, material and financial resources. From there arises the need to develop a diagnosis of document management carried out by the Graduate Institute of the Technical University of Manabí for the development of a management system based on the ISO 15489 standard. This research was achieved through of the application of methods and instruments for collecting field information, such as the Likert scale, by means of which the deficiencies in document management of the Graduate Institute of the Technical University of Manabí were determined, being that the storage and archiving of vital and sensitive information, in the same way it is necessary that the document management process should be readjusted with a new regulation based on the ISO 15489 standard by means of which it is possible to regulate the organization and conservation of documents.
