LA CONCIENCIA LINGÜÍSTICA EN EL APRENDIZAJE DE LA LECTOESCRITURA

    La conciencia lingüística es la habilidad que le permite al niño reflexionar sobre el lenguaje oral, para identificar, segmentar o combinar las unidades léxicas de las palabras aprendidas, con el fin de dominar la competencia comunicativa que se produce en la estructura del habla. Por esta razón, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo diseñar una estrategia didáctica para desarrollar la conciencia lingüística en el aprendizaje de la lectoescritura en estudiantes del segundo año de Educación General Básica de la Escuela Fiscal Carlos Enrique Parrales en la ciudad Portoviejo. La metodología aplicada fue una investigación descriptiva, no experimental, con un enfoque cuantitativo. Para la discusión y análisis de los resultados se utilizaron los métodos teóricos, empíricos, y estadísticos. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron la encuesta, análisis de documentos y una prueba de diagnóstico. Participaron 26 estudiantes y 15 docentes. Los resultados evidenciaron que los estudiantes presentan dificultades como: relacionar fonema–grafema, identificar el significado de las palabras, reconocer cuando una oración está mal formulada y determinar que palabra está causando la confusión. Por otro lado, los docentes emplean el método global en la enseñanza de lectoescritura, por lo que no realizan actividades para el aprendizaje del código alfabético y esto dificulta la fluidez de la lectura. Se concluye que el maestro como parte esencial en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje debe actualizarse en nuevos métodos de enseñanza, especialmente con una metodología que esté plasmada en el currículo ecuatoriano para la enseñanza de la lectoescritura, ya que hay un desconocimiento o no saben cómo aplicarla eficientemente.

    Linguistic awareness is the ability that allows the child to reflect on oral language, to identify, segment or combine the lexical units of learned words, in order to master the communicative competence that occurs in the structure of speech. For this reason, the aim of this research is to design a didactic strategy to develop linguistic awareness in learning of reading and writing of second year students of Basic General Education at Carlos Enrique Parrales Public School in the city of Portoviejo. The methodology was a descriptive, non-experimental research, with a quantitative approach. For the discussion and analysis of the results the theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods were used. The techniques used were a survey, the document analysis process and a diagnostic test. A total of 26 students and 15 teachers participated in the study. The results showed that the students have difficulties such as: relating phoneme-grapheme, identifying the meaning of words, recognizing when a sentence has a wrong structure and determining which word is causing the confusion. On the other hand, teachers use the global method in teaching reading and writing, so they do not carry out activities for learning the alphabetic code and this stop the reading fluency. It is concluded that the teacher as an essential part of the teaching-learning process must be updated in new methods of teaching, especially with the methodology which is included in the Ecuadorian curriculum for the teaching of reading and writing, since there is a lack of knowledge or they do not how to apply it effectively.
