Resumen de El diccionari normatiu valencià (DNV) de l’Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua: Una contribució al benestar lingüístic dels valencians
In the paper we will do a little history of the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua, a Valencian normative institution created in 2001 by a consensus of the main Valencian parties with the Valencian universities and with the particularistic institutions.We will explain our experience as coordinator of the DNV: elaboration criteria, difficulties in achieving consensus; structure of the work; main contributions to the normative lexicography. We will deal with the reception of the DNV as a tool for social pacification among Valencians. Finally we will refer to the usefulness of the DNV in the creation of a viable language model in all the lands where Catalan-Valencian-Balearic is spoken.
