Autoeficacia: un acercamiento al estado de la investigación en Latinoamérica

    El constructo autoeficacia ha adquirido relevancia en el ámbito educativo e investigativo, hecho que se explica por el carácter predictivo que tiene sobre la motivación y el aprendizaje. Es por ello que resulta importante una revisión del estado actual de la teoría de Bandura, focalizando en estudios realizados en el contexto latinoamericano para una mayor identificación. La revisión de la literatura indica que, en Latinoamérica, se encuentra una cantidad disminuida de investigaciones sobre el desarrollo de este constructo. Dato que permite plantear la necesidad de realizar nuevas investigaciones que faciliten la comprensión, y revalidación de uno de los componentes más importantes de teoría socio-cognitiva de Bandura, la autoeficacia.

    The self-efficacy construct has gained relevance in the educational and research field, a fact that is explained by its predictive nature on motivation and learning. Because of this, a review of the current state of Bandura's theory is important, focusing on studies conducted in the Latin American context for greater identification. The literature review indicates that in Latin America, there is an insufficient amount of research on the development of this construct. This information shows the need to carry out new research to facilitate the understanding and revalidation of one of the most important components of Bandura's socio-cognitive theory, self-efficacy.
