    Desde sus orígenes en 1993 a la actualidad, el Parque Geológico de Aliaga ha dedicado sus esfuerzos hacia la protección y valorización de la Geodiversidad del municipio. Tal y como definió Kozlowski (2004), el concepto de geodiversidad responde a la variedad natural en la superficie terrestre, referida a los aspectos geológicos, geomorfológicos, suelos, hidrología, así como otros sistemas generados como resultado de procesos naturales y la actividad humana. En base a esto, durante el año 2019 la gerencia del parque –jumidosiv- ha centrado sus acciones en tres ejes principales: el normativo –a través de la actualización y aplicación de la normativa vigente en Aragón-, educativo –a través de un curso intensivo en verano dirigido a los niños del municipio, y el divulgativo –por medio de la promoción de un turismo de calidad proporcionado por la actividad geoturística.

    From its origins in 1993 to the present, the Geological Park of Aliaga has been dedicating its efforts towards the protection and valorization of the geodiversity of the municipality. As Kozlowski defined (2004), the concept of geodiversity responds to the natural variety in the Earth's surface, referring to the geological, geomorphological, soil, hydrological aspects, as well as other systems generated as a result of natural processes and human activity. Thus, during the year 2019 the company in charge of the management of the park -jumidosiv- has focused its actions on three main axes: the normative -through the updating and application of current laws in Aragon-, educational -through an intensive summer aimed at the children of the municipality, and informative -by promoting quality tourism provided by the geotouristic activity.
