Iter Arreptum, una tipología notarial no tenida en cuenta

    Se llama la atención, partiendo de algunos casos registrados en las décadas centrales del siglo XVI en Astorga, sobre una tipología notarial denominada “yterarretum”, que no ha merecido ningún estudio, ni conocemos ningún ejemplar de esta clase de instrumentos notariales publicado íntegramente, y se refieren a testimoniar el viaje a la curia romana, invocando por ello la protección de personas y bienes que el derecho común y varias bulas aseguraban a estos viajeros, que podían acudir a Roma en apelación de facto de sus pleitos y causas, o simplemente como peregrinos, pero que en la documentación inédita que ahora publicamos parece tratarse más bien de pretendientes a lograr en Roma beneficios o privilegios eclesiásticos.

    It is called attention, starting from some cases recorded in the central decades of the sixteenth century in Astorga, on a notarial typology called "yterarretum", which has not merited any study, nor do we know any copy of this kind of notarial instruments published in its entirety, and refer to testifying to the trip to the Roman curia, thus invoking the protection of people and goods that the common law and several bulls assured these travelers, that they could go to Rome in de facto appeal of their lawsuits and causes, or simply as pilgrims, but that in the unpublished documentation that we now publish it seems to be more about pretenders to achieve in Rome ecclesiastical benefits or privileges.
