    La presente nota crítica pretende ahondar sobre las implicaciones que tendría defender un derecho a la belleza en las ciudades, tomando como punto de partida tanto la noción heideggeriana de ‘habitar’, como la caracterización Whyte de ‘derecho’. La tesis de fondo es que la belleza contribuye a hacer de cada ciudad un lugar habitable, lo cual implica ciertas obligaciones tanto para aquellos que las gobiernan, como para aquellos que las habitan.

    This critical note intends to analyze into the implications of defending a right to beauty in cities, taking as a starting point both the Heideggerian notion of ‘inhabiting’ and Whyte’s characterization of ‘right’. The underlying thesis is that beauty contributes to making every city a livable place, which implies certain obligations both for those who govern them and for those who inhabit them.
