O artigo analiza o desenvolvemento da ciencia e da situación das mulleres ó longo dos séculos XVII e XVIII. Presenta o papel que xogaron as mulleres científicas nesa época e en concreto, analiza as consideracións dos autores de dous libros de química do século XVII: Marie Meurdrac e Nicolás Lémery, nun momento histórico no que tivo moita importancia a difusión da química.

This article analyses the science development and women situacion during the seventeen and eighteen centuries. If focuses in the role played for the scientific women in this period and specifically ir analyses the authors refleccions of two chemistry books of che seventeen century: Marie Meurdrac and Nicolás Lémery, in an historical moment which the chemistry diffusion takes great importance.
