    El trabajo de estas dos científicas nos adentra en el mundo de la inteligencia artificial (IA) y la robótica, esta realidad que traza nuestra cultura literaria futurista con nuestro presente más inmediato para crear soluciones y plantear cuestiones éticas ineludibles. Carme Torras Genís, la primera invitada, trabaja en el Instituto de Robótica e Informática Industrial (CSIC-UPC) donde es profesora de investigación. Ella es una veterana matemática y doctora en informática que cotidianamente diseña robots, respondiendo a la demanda de otros equipos de investigación u organismos que tienen necesidad de emplearlos como herramientas para interactuar con personas con necesidades especiales. Desde su vertiente divulgadora es una referente novelista de ciencia ficción; sus libros plantean interesantes dilemas éticos relacionados con la incorporación de entidades con inteligencia artificial en la sociedad contemporánea. Lydia Delicado-Moratalla, la segunda invitada, es una joven pero no por ello menos experta investigadora. Geógrafa, Doctora en Estudios Interdisciplinares de Género de la Universidad de Alicante, con su investigación ha transitado desde el análisis de la sexualidad de las mujeres negras hasta los modelos vigentes de prostitución y pornografía a través de los robots humanoides. Su línea de trabajo gira en torno a las personas que construyen y promocionan estas IA con fines lucrativos, debatiendo en torno al impacto que produce en las mujeres como elementos sociales de interpretación y de construcción de valor

    This is a work where two scientists take us into the world of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, this reality that traces our futuristic literary culture with our most immediate present to create solutions and raise unavoidable ethical questions. Carme Torras Genís, works at the Institute of Robotics and Industrial Computing (CSIC-UPC) where she is a research professor. She is a veteran mathematician and doctor in computer science who designs robots on a daily basis, responding to the demand of other research teams or organizations that need to use them as tools to interact with people with special needs. From the informative side of her, she is a leading science fiction novelist; Her books raise interesting ethical dilemmas related to the incorporation of artificially intelligent entities in contemporary society. Lydia Delicado-Moratalla, is a young but no less expert researcher. She is a geographer, Doctor in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies from the University of Alicante, with her research she has gone from the analysis of the sexuality of black women to the current models of prostitution and pornography through humanoid robots. Her line of work revolves around the people who build and promote these AIs for profit, debating the impact it has on women as social elements of interpretation and value construction.
