En el presente artículo se aborda de forma crítica la construcción androcéntrica del conocimiento y la tecnología. Aquí se plantea la necesidad de introducir la perspectiva de género en ambos ámbitos, desde el marco de la epistemología feminista.
Asimismo, se describe la implementación de esta perspectiva a lo largo del Proyecto EMPATÍA-CM como medio para construir nuevas relaciones entre identidades no hegemónicas y nuevas tecnologías.
Este proyecto, liderado por el Equipo UC3MSafety de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, tiene por objetivo desarrollar un sistema capaz de detectar situaciones de riesgo para las mujeres víctimas de Violencia de Género, mediante la identificación de reacciones emocionales.

This article critically addresses the androcentric construction of knowledge and technology. Here is arisen the need to introduce the gender perspective in both fields, from the framework of feminist epistemology.
It also describes the implementation of this perspective throughout the EMPATIA-CM Project as a means to build new relationships between non-hegemonic identities and new technologies.
This project, led by the UC3MSafety Team of the Carlos III University of Madrid, aims to develop a system capable of detecting risk situations for women victims of Gender Violence, through the identification of emotional reactions.
