    Este artículo pretende situar, al inicio, el primer libro de Octavio Paz, Luna silvestre (1933) en su contexto de producción; luego, en relación con la poesía de Xavier Villaurrutia; finalmente, en el marco de la configuración de las Obras completas de Paz. Para ello, recurro a fuentes directas. En la primera y segunda parte, comparo Luna silvestre y los Nocturnos de Villaurrutia para mostrar la disparidad en la recepción de ambos libros, así como la influencia de éste en aquél; mientras en la tercera, empleo la crítica textual para reconstruir el devenir editorial del libro del Premio Nobel.

    In this article I intend, first, to place the first book by Octavio Paz, Luna silvestre (1933) in its production context; then, in relation to the poetry of Xavier Villaurrutia; finally, within the framework of the configuration of the Complete Works of Paz. For this, I resort to first-hand sources. In the first and second parts, I compare Luna silvestre and the Nocturnos de Villaurrutia to show the disparity in the reception of both books, as well as the influence of this one in that one; while in the third, I use textual criticism to reconstruct the editorial history of the book Prize Nobel.
