En lo personal, hablar de aprendizaje cooperativo me transporta de manera automática hace casi quince años, a mis inicios en la docencia en la querida escuela “Remigio Estévez” de la Parroquia Jima- Cantón Sígsig Provincia del Azuay, experiencia que me es grata compartir por cuanto revive los más lindos recuerdos de antaño. Como si hubiese ocurrido ayer, recuerdo con claridad el día que recibí el nombramiento para laborar en la lejana escuela rural, después de un largo e interminable trayecto llegué al fin a la escuela, el primer día después de presentarme en la formación ante la presencia de los y las docentes y estudiantes, y de notar distintas reacciones, me entregarón el grado (sexto en aquel entonces, hoy séptimo de básica) y literalmente me dijo: “De hoy en adelante es suyo, haga usted lo que quiera con él”.

Personally, talking about cooperative learning automatically transports me almost fifteen years ago, to my beginnings in teaching at the beloved "Remigio Estévez" school in the Jima- Canton Sígsig Province of Azuay, an experience that I am happy to share because it revives the most beautiful memories of the past. As if it had happened yesterday, I remember clearly the day I received the appointment to work in the distant rural school. After a long and endless journey, I finally arrived at the school, the first day after presenting myself in the presence of the teachers and students, and noticing different reactions, they handed me the grade (sixth at that time, today seventh of basic) and literally said to me: "From today on it is yours, you do what you want with it".
