  • The following paper treats to dabble the different pathologies that are affecting the global economy, and their connection with the maritime transport and the global interdependence on the energy production and supply with special attention to the role of the natural gas and lng as transition energies until the times comes when there is a world with ghg zero emissions. The future market for lng shipping is also dealt with, looking at the supply-demand equation in a scenario full of instability. The possible role for the supply of lng ships by the EU, and specifically by spain is commented as well.
