Decisiones empresariales de productividad y reajuste ante la crisis argentina 2018-2019. Caso GRIMOLDI

    El presente estudio de caso de la empresa argentina Grimoldi busca identificar los factores, efectos y causas a las decisiones de restructuración al que se expone para hacer frente a la crisis cambiaria y económica.  Para la generación de la investigación se utilizó el estudio de los estados contables, anuncios de prensa, entrevistas en profundidad a analistas económicos, representantes sindicales, delegados de los comités de empresa y empleados afectados. Se encuentra que a causas económicas que afecto significativamente el consumo de bienes como el calzado y la indumentaria, la empresa se vio forzada a tomar la difícil decisión de reducir su estructura en pos de garantizar la viabilidad económica de la empresa. Ante la fuerte disminución de trabajo no imputable a la compañía y teniendo en cuenta que la restructuración de la fuerza laboral afectaría a más de 10% de la dotación, se inició un Procedimiento Preventivo de Crisis (PPC) con el objetivo de consensuar con los gremios involucrados un plan de adecuación al contexto macroeconómico.  Los shocks económicos y cambiario en la argentina y su impacto en la empresa Grimoldi ofrece un claro ejemplo de aprendizaje de estrategias empresarial, sindical y político.

    The present case study of the Argentine company Grimoldi seeks to identify the factors, effects and causes of the restructuring decisions to which it is exposed to face the exchange and economic crisis. The study of the financial statements, press announcements, in-depth interviews with economic analysts, union representatives, delegates of the company committees and affected employees was used to generate this research. It is found that for economic reasons which significantly affected the consumption of goods such as footwear and clothing, the company was forced to make the difficult decision to reduce its structure in order to guarantee the economic viability of the company. Given the sharp decrease in labour not attributable to the company and taking into account that the restructuring of the workforce would affect more than 10% of the endowment, a Crisis Preventive Procedure (CPP) was initiated with the objective of agreeing with the unions involved a plan of adaptation to the macroeconomic context. The economic and exchange shocks in Argentina and its impact on the company Grimoldi offers a clear example of learning business, union and political strategies.
