  • Resumen
    • Based on the non-linear dual phase lag model, the present investigation treats with mathematical models of bioheat transfer to study the transient phenomena in a spherical tissue due to the effect of laser heat source.

Caused by the nonlinear basic equations, the finite element method is adopted to get the solutions of this problem. To verify the accuracy of the numerical solutions, the numerical results obtained by the finite element method are compared with the experimental data. Also, the comparison between the experimental results and the numerical results display that the existing mathematical model is efficacious tool to estimate the bioheat model in the spherical biological tissues.
