    El artículo sugiere un nexo entre la elaboración de constituciones y los procesos de globalización capitalista. Dicho enlace sería proporcionado por la transferencia constitucional como parte de los estudios jurídicos comparados. En efecto, hoy ya no solo se basan en la interacción entre lo nacional y lo inter-nacional, sino que también implican lo dimensión trans-nacional. Se intentará demostrar el vínculo observando algunas facetas empíricas relacionadas con la información sobre constituciones extranjeras que algunas consultorías transnacionales ofrecen al proceso constituyente chileno. Las conclusiones muestran que solo ciertas formas jurídicas predominantes son promovidas y transferidas. Esto sería así pues resultan funcionales al desenvolvimiento del mercado mundial.

    The article suggests a link between constitution-making and capitalist globalisation processes. The nexus would be provided by constitutional transfer as a part of comparative legal studies. Indeed, nowadays they are not only based on the interplay of the national and the inter-national, but also involve the trans national dimension. The essay will attempt to demonstrate the connection by looking at some empirical facets related to the information on foreign constitutions that some transnational consultancies offer to the Chilean constitution-making process. Conclusions show that only certain predominant legal forms are promoted and transferred. This is because they are functional to the unfolding of the global market,
