La actividad del mantenimiento tiene una gran transcendencia en la operativa, fiabilidad y resultados económicos de grandes Construcciones e infraestructuras. Sin embargo, existe un elemento que influye en la mejora operativa y reducción del tiempo de reposición o actuación ante el fallo en las acciones tácticas del mantenimiento: El conocimiento tácito. En este artículo, mediante un estudio de casos, se ha podido aproximar, que dicho factor puede influir, en valores elevados, que repercuten en la eficiencia técnica y económica de grandes infraestructuras.

Maintenance activity is of great importance in the operations, reliability and economic results of large constructions and infrastructures. However, there is an element that influences operational improvement and reduction of replacement time or action in the event of failure in tactical maintenance actions: Tacit knowledge. In this article, through a case study, it has been possible to approximate that this factor can influence, in high values, that affect the technical and economic efficiency of large infrastructure.
