    Los orígenes de la disciplina arqueológica estuvieron ligados a una élite masculina occidental que empleó el patrimonio para justificar su poder mediante los museos. Surgida del movimiento feminista, la Museología de Género busca deconstruir el discurso expositivo y revalorizar el papel de sujetos históricos omitidos por la tradición como las mujeres. Mediante este estudio, valoraremos si la perspectiva feminista ha generado cambios en la forma de representar la Prehistoria en cuatro museos de Euskal Herria o si, por el contrario, persiste la situación previa.

    Originally, the archaeological discipline was linked to a Western male elite that used heritage to justify its power through museums. Gender Museology, which arose from the feminist movement, seeks both the deconstruction of the exhibition discourse and the revaluation of the role played by historical subjects omitted by tradition, including women. Through this study, we will assess whether the feminist perspective has brought changes in the way Prehistory is portrayed in four museums of the Basque Country or whether, on the contrary, the previous situation persists.
