    El ojo, considerado como el órgano del más noble de los sentidos, ha sido ampliamente representado en todas las culturas y sociedades. Su simbolismo es innegable: representa el Sol y la luz divina, el conocimiento o la revelación, y establece una potente conexión entre el mundo exterior y el interior individual. Sin embargo, el ojo también puede simbolizar aquello demoníaco, delirante y onírico, abriéndose la mirada a una nueva realidad. Los artistas del Surrealismo materializaron su deseo de revolución y poesía a través de una nueva forma de ver, sirviéndose del ojo como elemento esencial en sus obras, y llevando su visión fantástica hasta nuestros días

    The eye, considered the organ of the noblest of the senses, has been widely represented in all cultures and societies. Its symbolism is undeniable: it represents the Sun and the divine light, the knowledge or the revelation, and it establishes a powerful connection between the outer world and the individual inner self. However, the eye can also symbolize that what is demonic, delirious and oneiric, opening the gaze to a new reality. The Surrealist artists materialized their desire for revolution and poetry through a new way of seeing, and used the eye as an essential element of their artworks, bringing their fantastic vision to the present d ay
