El presente artículo tiene por objeto analizar la normativa, doctrina y jurisprudencia sobre la relación temporal entre los actos de facilitar la información asistencial al paciente, de firmar el documento de consentimiento informado y, finalmente, de ejecutar el procedimiento médico, a fin de determinar el plazo de reflexión que debe mediar entre dichas actuaciones.

This purpose of this paper is to analyse the legislation, legal-scientific doctrine commentators and the case-law about the temporal relationship between the acts of to provide healthcare information to the patient, to sign the informed consent document and, finally, to execute the medical procedure, in order to establish the period of reflection that must mediate between all of them.
