Resumen de Antigitanismo: El rechazo de la etnia gitana como determinante de aporofobia

  El antigitanismo, definido como una forma de discriminación hacia el pueblo gitano, se presenta en diversas dimensiones, destacando el ámbito laboral, educativo e incluso institucional, que evidencian los estereotipos, estigmas y prejuicios existentes sobre el pueblo gitano. Asimismo, representa uno de los colectivos más discriminados, a pesar de constatarse la existencia de una cifra negra de delitos cometidos contra personas de etnia gitana, en tanto que no siempre denuncian las situaciones de odio sufridas. Además de ello, se destaca que el riesgo de pobreza de las personas gitanas es elevadamente superior al de la población en general, sufriendo mayores niveles de marginalidad y exclusión social. Por tanto, se debe hacer una correcta delimitación entre antigitanismo y aporofobia, puesto que en la mayoría de las ocasiones se discrimina a la persona gitana por ser pobre, hablándose en estos casos de aporofobia, es decir, del rechazo, aversión y odio al pobre

  Antigypsism is defined as a form of discrimination towards the gypsy people, and is presented in diverse dimensions, highlighting the labor, educational and even institutional sphere, that is evident in the stereotypes, stigmas and prejudices which exist towards the gypsy people, at the same time it represents one of the most discriminating groups even though the dark-number about crimes against some ethnic gypsy people does exist though not always denounced that these situations of hatred one saffered. Moreover it is pointed out that the risk of poverty of gypsy people is highly superior to the general population, saffering higher levels of marginality tan the general population of margenality and social exclusion. Because of that a correct delimitation between antigypsyism and aporophobia. Since on the majority of the occasions the poorer gypsy is discriminated, speaking of these cases of the aporophobia is to say of the exclusion, aversion and hatred of the poor
