Resumen de Fuga y ciframiento: algunas reflexiones en torno a la música y el lenguaje

¿Qué tiene la música que nos empuja a hablar de ella? ¿Es la música algo que está más allá del lenguaje humano? ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre “lengua”, “lenguaje”, y “discurso”? Si se intenta ubicar a la música en todo aquello que permite el ciframiento, si se insiste en otorgarle valor, coordenadas precisas en documentos, archivos y, más recientemente, en códigos y redes, es porque hay algo en ella que siempre se nos escapa, que vuelve a desordenar los discursos que al mismo tiempo nos ha empujado a enunciar. Me refiero a un real inatrapable que siempre será el motor de la creatividad.

What does music have that it pushes us to talk about it? Is music something that is beyond human language? What is the difference between "mother tongue", "language", and "discourse"? We try to find music in everything that permits encoding, insist on giving it a value or precise coordinates in documents, files or more recently, in codes and networks, but there will always be something in music that escapes from language. A certain thing that will elude the very discourse that we were compelled to enunciate by music. I mean the real unattainable that is the fuel for creativity.
